SOCIETY OF FIRE PROTECTION ENGINEERS
SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA CHAPTER
The Southern California Chapter of SFPE awards an annual academic scholarship to the most qualified candidate in the amount of $2000. The primary purpose of the Southern California SFPE Scholarship Award is to promote interest and public awareness of the science and practice of Fire Protection Engineering and to promote and encourage students to study for a career in Fire Protection Engineering.
Those eligible to apply must be enrolled in the Fire Protection Engineering degree program at California Polytechnic State University – San Luis Obispo. Eligible applicants must complete the application and submit it no later than October 31. Applications will be awarded by December 31.
The scholarship is funded by SFPE Southern California Chapter’s annual Symposium. Financial support for the Symposium directly supports this scholarship, and its potential expansion. Click here for more information about the Symposium.
