Improving Fire Safety in Bangladesh Garment Factories Overview of the current situation and look forward on where its headed.

Speaker

Mathew Mershimer, EIT, Associate at Jensen Hughes

Has been with Jensen Hughes for 1.5 years and spent 10 months of this time working in Bangladesh performing Garment factory Fire and Life Safety inspections as the onsite project manager. I also have experience in the special hazards industry with Kevta Fire Systems for 1.5 years providing fire protection for turbines and generator sets with water mist and high pressure CO2 systems. Graduated Long Beach State with a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering. Current Masters student of the Cal Poly Fire Protection Engineering program.
