Biography: 

Todd has over 20 years of experience in the fire pump industry. He is currently VP of Sales for SoCal with the Brown Company; manufacturers’ representative for Aurora, Fairbanks Morse, Edwards, TIgerflow, and Nijhuis Fire Pump brands in CA, ID, NV, MT, and WY. As manufacturers’ representative, Todd is involved in the entire fire pump life cycle – from conceptual design, specification, execution, installation, commissioning, maintenance, replacement, troubleshooting, and repairs. Covering all of SoCal, he’s seen it all and can share a multitude of experiences. Todd holds a bachelor’s in environmental science from Humboldt State University and was a staff scientist involved with environmental assessments and remediation. He also completed the Certified in Plumbing Design Certificate at San Francisco City College, and is factory trained by several pump, controller and engine manufacturers. Todd is passionate about teaching; he used to demonstrate science concepts at the Discovery Science Center in Costa Mesa and has continued with that passion ever since. Nfpa20.com
